Great video! Ive never seen glaciers up close before. It must be an awesum from the air.

What kind of trike is this in the video and what are the most common trikes in Iceland?

I would love to come over some day and check things out

Good luck

Thanks Frode.

Trike flying and ultralight flying is quite common in Iceland. We have now few clubs although we are only 320.000. In big Reykjavik area are living around 100.000 people. Our clubhouse Grund is quite central and for most of us we only have to drive max 5-15 min. There we have now 3 hangar with around 10-15 trikes. Reykjavik "town" have expanded so much that now we are now "inside" Reykjavik and also inside the air-trafic-conrol-zone of the Reykjavik airport. Therefore we have now to move to a new place outside Reykjavik.

Icelanders talk a lot about THE WETHER" while other nations talk about other things. This evening we are expecting a storm but we had a big one few days ago where the wind speed was going up to 50-60 m/sec!

In Iceland you HAVE to check the wether before you start your trip.

If you visit Iceland, then I am a professional guide if you need some help.

Love it!
And the music isn't that bad...hard to suit everybody:)
Is it common with trike flying on iceland? I guess you have as much bad weather as we have on the Norwegian westcoast...
Hope to visit Iceland soon.

Regards
Frode
